White Horse Gardening Club 2023 Programme - next on May 20th

Meetings are usually in the Thomas Hughes Memorial Hall, Uffington, Faringdon, SN7 7RA.

Meetings held on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7.30pm, unless otherwise stated.

Membership £15 per annum. Visitors £3.00 per meeting.

VISIT - Littleworth village gardens at 6pm

Social evening including wine & nibbles. Free to members. Visitors £3.00

 

  • WEDNESDAY JUNE 7TH

VISIT Morning: Suggestion - Stonor Park, Henley on Thames RG9 6HF

(By own arrangement – free to NT and HH members)

Afternoon: Kidmore House, Garden and Vineyard, Chalkhouse Green Road, Kidmore End, Reading RG4 9AR.

2.30pm includes tour and refreshments. £12 per person. Min – 8 Max - 25

£12 per head to include house and garden. Refreshments available at café.

In a magnificent setting in the Malvern Hills, overlooking the Severn Valley, Little Malvern Court is a 15th century former Prior’s hall and a courtyard of adjoining monastic buildings – the garden has terraces that were laid out in the 1980s, devised by Arabella Lennox Boyd and Michael Balston.
